CTE Position and Role
Diane serves as the Administrative Coordinator for the Center for Teaching Excellence's Digital Learning team. She provides administrative and operational support for faculty, staff, and leadership by coordinating events, managing business operations, assisting with budgeting and purchasing, and helping ensure the smooth delivery of services that support teaching and learning initiatives.
Relevant Academic and Professional Experience
Diane brings nearly three decades of experience at Texas A&M University, serving in a variety of administrative and customer-focused roles across multiple departments. Her career has included positions in Freshman Admissions, Student Business Services, Instructional Technology Services (ITS), the Office for Academic Innovation, and now the Center for Teaching Excellence. Throughout her career, she has developed expertise in higher education administration, business operations, event coordination, budgeting, purchasing, records management, and customer service. Bilingual and having lived abroad, Diane values building meaningful relationships and providing exceptional service to individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds. In 2008, she received Texas A&M University's President's Meritorious Service Award, one of the university's highest staff honors. She also served for more than 15 years as the State Employee Charitable Campaign (SECC) unit coordinator, organizing fundraising efforts that benefited numerous local charities.
